In 1999, Brask Inc purchased Industrial Equipment & Engineering. Management added a new product line to serve the downstream industries specializing in process equipment with a keen focus on the DESIGN, MANUFACTURE AND REPAIR OF SHELL & TUBE HEAT EXCHANGERS.
Industrial Equipment & Engineering, Inc. was incorporated and licensed in the state of Louisiana in 1961. The company earned its initial reputation by making many technological contributions and innovations to its Upstream product line for the oil and gas service companies along with the drilling operations both onshore and offshore equipment to Halliburton, Schlumberger, BJ and other major customers.
In 2003, the growth of the company facilitated fabrication of a newly constructed state-of-the-art facility on a 20-acre tract in an Industrial Park in Sulphur, Louisiana. This location is adjacent to both Interstate 10 and Highway 90. The main shop of 80,000 square feet is equipped to handle a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous metal fabrications in an efficient and controlled manner. The office and warehouse spaces occupy an additional 30,000 sq. ft.
In 2011 a duplicate facility was constructed in Pearland, TX providing Brask with double the capacity and proximity to the Houston Ship Channel.
Brask, Inc. specializes in engineering design and fabrication services for complete shell and tube heat exchangers, replacement parts, ASME Code modifications, new bundles, strip-and-retubes, turnaround repairs along with consulting services.
Brask, Inc. serves local, domestic, and international clients from 200,000 + square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing complexes spanning 35 acres in Sulphur, LA and Pearland, TX. Each fabrication facility’s main shop spans 200 feet in width and 400 feet in length and offers lifting capacity of 100 tons with a hook height of 25 ft.
With ASME U, S, & R Stamps, Brask, Inc. offers fabrication in nearly all materials of construction used in refineries including Carbon Steel, Low and High Chrome Alloys, Duplex & Stainless Steel, Copper & Nickel based Alloys, Inconels and Titanium.
In 2025, Brask, Inc. – HDNA, located alongside the Brask, Inc. – Neela facility in Pearland, TX, expanded our capabilities as a cleaning and inspection facility. Offering turnkey turnaround services, it provides custom cleaning using high-pressure water, abrasive grit blast, and chemical methods for exchangers and components.

In 2024 Brask, Inc. is breaking ground and adding an on-site cleaning and inspection facility in Pearland, TX that will offer turnkey turnaround services including bundle hydroblasting, ultrasonic cleaning and shell side chemical cleaning of exchangers and components.

Life Share Blood Drive
“LifeShare Blood Center was established in Shreveport, LA in 1942 and regularly supplies blood services to over 100 medical facilities throughout Louisiana and Texas.” Brask, Inc Employees support this worthy mission by hosting mobile blood drives.
